Mama & Me

I was more than happy when my orchid,
started to grow again all of a sudden!

I promised to do a post about some things i made!
Well, here it is, together with some other things i wanted to show you.

My mother made me this sweeter than sweet teatowel...

And she also gave me these beautiful, little bottles...

I finally made a beginning with the collage on my wall,
i am talking about for ages now.
It's just a beginning...

I also painted these two plates...

My mother and i made this big cushion,
with two different fabrics.

Another cute, little cushion we made.

These are some of the pages from my 3th 'Inspirationbook'.
I decided to keep it very clean and simple this time...

My mother made me this beautiful dress/tunic,
i love the shape and the cute fabric!

My mother (isn't she just brilliant?) found this cute,
little plate for me, at a thriftshop.

Two gorgeous books!
The left one my mother gave me and the right i bought myself.
Thanks, Susanna-Cole for recommending this gorgeous book!

Loving tea more and more,
especially the beautiful packages.
This one says:
If every day is an awakening, you will never grow old.
You will just keep growing.

~Gail Sheeby~

There is this new magazine in Holland,
called Flow.
It's amazing and very inspiring!
(And they definitely love birds too!)

I finally put my paper cranes on the ceiling!

I made this little birdie thing for my mother's birthday,
i am not very proud of it, because it didn't turn out the way i wanted it too.
I do think it's cute though and my mother was very happy with it!

To finish this post, below some pictures of stuff in my mother's house...
Love the colours and prints on the things she uses to decorate her beautiful place!

I hope you will all have a wonderful week,
and that Spring will arrive soon!

Oh, before i forget!
I nominated my own blog for the Blogger Choice awards.
Just for fun and to see how much votes i will get, of course!
(Not that i think i will win on one of the categories of course, since there are so amazingly many GORGEOUS blogs on the net!)

If you want to vote for me, you can do it here.
Vote for Best Blog About Stuff.
Vote for Best Photography Blog.
Vote for Best Blog Design.
Or...vote for Best Blog of All Time.
Hahaha.

Thanks in advance, my dearies!

It just goes to show that you are just as crafty as all the other artists out there that you post about! I love those plates and cushions you made <3... and I reallllly love your inspiration wall so far (the pictures you have put up so far are wonderful... inspiring). It's also fun to see your inspiration book, may I ask do you print a lot of your pictures or if you use magazines and catalogs, which ones do you get? Everything is just gorgeous, that little reindeer just made me smile and melt inside a little (not to mention that incredible wallpaper!! Or is it fabric?).

Alright dear, I hope you are well and thank you for your sweet words on my blog!! I always love hearing from you! <3

What a fun post Mila and such a precious way to spend time with your mama. She's obviously passed on her love of beautiful things to you! This makes me hope that Clover and I will do lots of fun creative things together when she grows up :) Haha, she's already showing an interest in shopping and dressing up!

Your inspiration book is gorgeous, SO not surprising ;) Love the painted plates, was the tree inspired by the set in your inspiration book? I've been wanting to start a wall collage myself, yours is off to such a lovely start... inspiring!

You're such a dear, thanks so so much for your sweet comments and I was thrilled to hear you liked my room. Saying that it's just so you is just about the best compliment I could hope for with your amazing taste and all!

I hope you are doing great as well and much love to you!
