Thanks to the August issue of Elle UK, i spotted these great designs of Ria Thomas.
She just won the Pringle Visionary Knitwear Award, and in my opinion you can definitely tell why.
The designs are very pretty and original, i love the way she combined the light and airy dresses with the heavier knitwear.
Her inspiration for this collection was: Images of the inside of the body, represented on the outside.

Danielle Scutt is another British designer, who is quite new to the London fashion scene. She debuted on the London Fashionweek with her S/S 08 collection.
When Elle is talking about the 'reinvention of modern feminity', you understand i am interested right away!
I am not sure yet whether i really like her designs or not.
Below some of her designs, see for yourself.

Her debut collection, S/S 08
From the UK or not, COS rocks!
I own a few pieces by this label, and i must say after wearing them over and over again i still like them a lot. The fabrics are of great quality, even the pretty cheap t-shirts, which are amazingly cut for a simple t-shirt.
I just love how simple, yet sophisticated and a little edgy the designs of COS are.
COS A/W 08/09
A few of the COS items i own, although the pictures are of a very bad quality...
(^ The grey cashmere sweater is heaven...)
(I wore these trousers a LOT, they are the most comfortable pair i've ever owned and they really go with almost everything..)
To stay in the UK mood, i made a little collage on Polyvore, where i haven't been for ages, as you can see by this creation below.
All of the items are from Topshop and lovely.....
