Old is never bad

(Photograph by Camille Vivier)

This early morning i went through my own blog archives, to see what i actually posted when i first started this blog in the end of 2007.
One thing made me smile: i finally know how Blogger works now (well, enough...) and in the beginning i definitely didn't. It was one big mess.

I saw some old posts and was still very much moved by the pictures i chose back then.
So i decided to make this post an 'ode' to the older days and post the photographs i like the most from old posts.
I think some of you haven't seen them already, at least... i hope so!

Yigal Azrouel S/S 08

Two of the pictures i made on the highway, when driving back from a day in Amsterdam.

Ab Chao's bedroom

Gorgeousness by stylist Christine Rudolph

Pancho Tolchinski; again, no words are needed.

The amazing artworks of Hadley Hutton

Arne Jacobsen Eggchair, with the most lovely print!

This amazing lamp, i am still dying to have...

Wendy Bevan never dissapoints.

To finish this post, i finally post my favourite picture of all times i found some time ago. I wanted to make a whole nice post about it, but i decided to put it in this post. You also deserve something new, after all these old ones.
Of course, it's by Lina Scheynius again....

I hope you liked it and didn't get bored of those oldies.
Have a lovely day!

I love looking back at the past... it brings a beautiful kind of nostalgia that only time can bring... sometimes I wish we could travel in time and visit our grandparents homes when they were kids...

Oh it's so fun to revisit old memories so that they are not forgotten. I remember most of these pictures (since I have been a follower of you for so long now hun!! haha). I am in love with your highway pictures, they are so amazingly soothing and the interior pictures just make me want some sort of attic bedroom with weathered wood floors, and old rot iron bed and paneled wood walls.
Ciao daer<3

I don't remember any of these, as I've only been a reader for the last month or so, but even if I had seen them, I don't think it would have mattered because they're way to beautiful to get bored of! My favorites are the 8th one (I love how that bedroom looks so outdoorsy) and the last one! But all of them are beautiful!

And thanks so much for your comment, dear! Don't worry I do not think you're dramatic, because I, as well, could not live without my dreams! :)

xoxo,

Wow, both the lamp and the chair are must haves whenever I get my own place (oh well, a girl's aloud to dream, isn't she?).

Get tired of your comments? Tss, never! Your blog is one of my favorites and just to know that you're visiting mine makes me.. proud, in a weird kind of way. Haha.

I actually ended up cutting my hair a little, but I think I'll remain blonde. At least for a little while... Winter means even more paleness for me, and darker hair added to that makes me look sick, and not in a Dita von Teese sickenly good looking kind of way... (wow, long comment)
