Shockingly beautiful

I just did an amazing discovery.
I found this breathtaking livejournal, via the also breathtaking blog Some required.
Both are definitely worth a visit.

A little warning, some of the pictures from the Livejournal 'Don't be a dead cat' are pretty scary (at least, they are to me).
I decided to post the pretty ones, and not the scary ones, because in my opinion they better fit my blog. Nevertheless, the scary ones are also very intruiging and beautiful in a whole different way.

I am wondering what kind of camera this person uses or am i really naive and is this all done in Photoshop or something?

I am really curious what you think about these...

Great photos! I love them and your taste. You always show so beautiful things.
I don't know a lot about cameras, but for me it looks like Holga or something.

These are gorgeous.
They have such a soft summery feel, almost dream like.

Seriously Mila, you really do have such wonderful taste in photography. I always try to find wonderful photos on my own, but never come up with anything as intriguing as you!

I adore these, expecially some on the journal - pretty insane, but they are all beautiful in some way.

Hope you're well, mi amore!

I'm really loving the double exposed pictures and how it makes the people look ghostly. They're very haunting and beautiful. Thanks for sharing Mila! :)

Awesome pics.
I think they may be using a Holga or a Diana camera.

I have a Holga camera and it yeilds the same effect... the beautiful thing about those lomography cameras is ..you can double expose one shot... hence the ghostly pictures...

I like your blog by the way... i stumbled across it through daydreamlily..

Very interesting.. Once my(and a few other friends') images a long time ago appeared ghostly like these on a friends completely irrelevant holiday pictures that were taken with the same camera. We freaked out!
As for these pictures, I think they're an art form one step further than captivating the moment. The moment is created through the photograph.

Love your blog- I have a few old pictures double exposed by mistake - from my mother's childhood back in the 30's, very ghostly, very cool! Glad to find out what camera may be available to produce this effect! Thank you for more beauty in my life!
