Pictures of polaroids + dress + my 'book'

You all know by now the thriftshop is by far my favourite store to go to, not only because of the prices, but mainly because of the amazing things i find there.
Lately a bought a lot of old/antique cups and plates and i had a little problem storing them, so i made this 'etagere' to put sweets, brownies and muffins on.

I also made a polaroid of this thing i made...
YEAH! I finally got my so desired very own Polaroid 600 camera and i also bought i pack of film today to start making pictures right away.
I made three polaroids now, and of course it aren't masterpieces at all (yet!), but i have to admit i am quite proud of these first results...

The other polaroid i made is of a vintage nightdress i bought in Amsterdam a few weeks ago.
The reason i took the picture in my garden, is that i already figured out this polaroid camera is not really suitable for inside pictures (as you will see next).
It really needs light from outside.

In the making....

The final result.

The polaroid i made inside....

To show you what is on that polaroid, i also made a picture with my regular camera.
These sweet pieces of lace i bought today at a great store which unfortunately closes by the end of this year, so everything is 50% off now.

This is my new dress. I bought it at H&M and it fits me so well.
I love the zipper from the top to the bottom and the corset-like top is amazing.
Oh, and it's darkgrey, a colour i truly love...

I already told you a few times i am slightly addicted to cut in my magazines.
Well, this is why.
1. I just don't have the space to stock all of my magazines, so once in a while i throw a bunch of them out. I cut out the things i really find beautiful or inspiring.
2. I paste them in my 'inspiration books'.

These are some of the pages from one of my 'books'.

The first picture of this post is a made with my Samsung digital camera and the little 'bambi' on it, i found at my local thriftstore, of course.
The reason i took pictures of the polaroids i made, is that i have no scanner of my own, i can only scan at my parent's place, so soon there will be more polaroids on this blog of better quality.

I used to do that, but then I got lazy and started just stacking them around my apartment. The biggest issue is I forget why I kept a certain issue/don't actually flip through them any more. It's kind of sad. Perhaps I'll grab some tape and scissors this weekend and gut some issues.

this is exactly what i do! i don't have enough room for all of my magazines so i cut them up and put all of the clippings in a giant art box...then when the mood strikes me, i paste them into inspiration books.

I am jealous!!! That zipper dress is gorgeous!!! My dad bought a Polaroid (I forgot what type it was...it's been so long since I've used it!) about, like, 8 years ago and I remember that there was some film left inside. I hope it is still lying on the floor of the hallway closet...I am aching for a Polaroid!!!

I really like everything in this post; the polaroid photos are great and it's a really good idea what you did with the plates and cups.
It would be nice to see more pages from your inspiration books. (I also have an inspiration book with clippings from magazines)
Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog!

I am looking for cheap online store to buy women wallets made by Free People and I was not able to find good price at Neiman Marcus until I found CheapSaleShop.net. At thisonline store they sell fine clothing by most demanded popular brands and shopping at cheap sale shop was simple and I found exactly what I was looking for.
