Pictures of polaroids + dress + my 'book'
You all know by now the thriftshop is by far my favourite store to go to, not only because of the prices, but mainly because of the amazing things i find there.
Lately a bought a lot of old/antique cups and plates and i had a little problem storing them, so i made this 'etagere' to put sweets, brownies and muffins on.
I also made a polaroid of this thing i made...
YEAH! I finally got my so desired very own Polaroid 600 camera and i also bought i pack of film today to start making pictures right away.
I made three polaroids now, and of course it aren't masterpieces at all (yet!), but i have to admit i am quite proud of these first results...
The other polaroid i made is of a vintage nightdress i bought in Amsterdam a few weeks ago.
The reason i took the picture in my garden, is that i already figured out this polaroid camera is not really suitable for inside pictures (as you will see next).
It really needs light from outside.
In the making....
The final result.
The polaroid i made inside....
To show you what is on that polaroid, i also made a picture with my regular camera.
These sweet pieces of lace i bought today at a great store which unfortunately closes by the end of this year, so everything is 50% off now.
This is my new dress. I bought it at H&M and it fits me so well.
I love the zipper from the top to the bottom and the corset-like top is amazing.
Oh, and it's darkgrey, a colour i truly love...
I already told you a few times i am slightly addicted to cut in my magazines.
Well, this is why.
1. I just don't have the space to stock all of my magazines, so once in a while i throw a bunch of them out. I cut out the things i really find beautiful or inspiring.
2. I paste them in my 'inspiration books'.
These are some of the pages from one of my 'books'.
The first picture of this post is a made with my Samsung digital camera and the little 'bambi' on it, i found at my local thriftstore, of course.
The reason i took pictures of the polaroids i made, is that i have no scanner of my own, i can only scan at my parent's place, so soon there will be more polaroids on this blog of better quality.

LOVELY POLAROIDS!
en je inspiratie boek is ook echt fantastisch!
Mila I love your polaroid pictures! looks so great. And also your new dress is amazing, I love the zip too!
All so beautiful - you look amazing in that zip dress, and I can't wait to see more of your adventures with polaroid images.
I used to do that, but then I got lazy and started just stacking them around my apartment. The biggest issue is I forget why I kept a certain issue/don't actually flip through them any more. It's kind of sad. Perhaps I'll grab some tape and scissors this weekend and gut some issues.
wow je polaroids zijn echt heel mooi geworden <3
Aww, the little bambi is so cute! Love your polaroids and the pages from your inspiraion books, so lovely! Oh, and ooh la la, that dress! :)

i want a polaroid camera too !!! gosh u'r so lucky
this is exactly what i do! i don't have enough room for all of my magazines so i cut them up and put all of the clippings in a giant art box...then when the mood strikes me, i paste them into inspiration books.
your polaroids are just lovely - you have a good eye :) And I have a similar "book" too!
Thank you all so much, lovelies, for your sweet comments!

I am jealous!!! That zipper dress is gorgeous!!! My dad bought a Polaroid (I forgot what type it was...it's been so long since I've used it!) about, like, 8 years ago and I remember that there was some film left inside. I hope it is still lying on the floor of the hallway closet...I am aching for a Polaroid!!!

I really like everything in this post; the polaroid photos are great and it's a really good idea what you did with the plates and cups.
It would be nice to see more pages from your inspiration books. (I also have an inspiration book with clippings from magazines)
Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog!

Beautiful work with the polas, Mila! And love your collages too :)
P.S I have finally fulfilled the tag you passed on to me...sorry it has taken so long. Have been dreadfully busy.
Yay for polaroids! I'm so sad that they won't be making them anymore. I look forward to seeing more of the photos you make!
xoxo
beautiful finds from the thriftshop!! those lace bits are gorgeous!!!
I am looking for cheap online store to buy women wallets made by Free People and I was not able to find good price at Neiman Marcus until I found CheapSaleShop.net. At thisonline store they sell fine clothing by most demanded popular brands and shopping at cheap sale shop was simple and I found exactly what I was looking for.
I was looking for Men JEANS and was wondering if Elizabeth and James is the best designer for Men JEANS?
