Vania

Art by Russian drawer Vania Zouravliov.
Found via Mia Marionette.

These works of art attract me,
but in a strange way.
Actually I am not even sure
if I really like them.
But I think I do.

I am very curious
about your opinions...

These are very powerful! I think that is what comes to my mind when I see them. They are just a little too dark for me, but there's a lot of emotion going on and I definitely feel it!

Oh, these are very nice! A bit edge-but lovely nonetheless!

These drawings are absolutely beautiful! Sorry, I must comment literally every day just saying 'beautiful!', but you always have such nice stuff!

I love black, white and gray...very philosophical. Love color but it can get distracting from what the image /form wants to project. Gorgeous.

I actually really love them. I think they're dark and mysterious, but in a very beautiful way. The first and third are my favorites!

I think they have a whimsical and gothic feel. I think the ilustrations are great, not exactly my style, but gorgeous nonetheless.
Thanks for sharing my dear.

I love these. I feel like the artist has captured an individual soul in each work which makes them so impacting and raw.

Each of their eyes tell a story. They are wonderful...from empty to flooded with emotion.

Perhaps your reaction is that they are not restful works to soak in ...they touch something deeper perhaps even ugly.

:) ??

Waaw... Ik ben fan! Ik hou wel van artiesten die een manier vinden om het mooie te combineren met duistere elementen.

Oh I love them!! But then, I love all dark and magical things. I think these images have an attractive design element along with the conveyed sadness and pain, as opposed to a lot of the purely design-oriented art you see these days.

Thank you for sharing this artist with us!
