Happymaking stuff

I have been given this beautiful award by: Under lock and key!
I am very grateful and i want to thank the owner of this beautiful blog with all my heart!

(The rules: Put the logo on your post. Nominate 5-10 blogs you like. Be sure to link to your nominees in your post. Let them know they have received the award by commenting on their blog. Share the love and link to this post and the person who gave you the award.)

I'd love to give this award to the following LOVERS!
Angela from Rags and scribbles, Lisa from Leeselooks, Hila from Lumiere, the owner of Anywhere I lay my head and Missa from Thriftcandy.
You all know why, my dear friends!

I have also been tagged by the owner of the wonderful blog (with the most beautiful name...) Heart-shapedmorning.

With as much creativity as you can muster, show your heart in:
1 picture
1 poem
1 song or piece of music
1 phrase or quote
1 item of clothing
1 place
1 Disney princess
If you want to join in, tag 6 more blogs!

The picture(s):

A dreamer, enjoying beauty, love and interesting people...

...but with some black holes in her life,
she tries to brighten,
but she sometimes feels like she lost the strength within.

The poem

How
if you could
surround yourself
with light-heartedness
and that would be
your space.

~Bert Schierbeek~

(The above poem is translated from the Dutch version by myself,
i hope the magic of it didn't get lost when translating it into English.)

The song or piece of music

This was a very difficult one, because as you all will agree,
there are too many gorgeous songs to name just one.
I had to make a choice.
I chose this song because her voice is just beyond words,
and it touches me every time i hear it.

Other favourite songs of mine are: Some devil by The Dave Matthews Band, Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen, Bridge over troubled water by Simon and Garfunkel, Staralfur by Sigur Ros, The girl you lost to cocaine by Sia, Nothing compares to you by Prince (Unfortunately i could only find the Sinead O'Connor version...), Glorybox by Portishead, Porcelain by Moby, 21 grams Theme by Gustavo Santaolalla and Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.

I really can't stop!
There are much more songs that make me happy, melancholic, sad, teary, smiling...
But all in such a good way!

The phrases or quotes

"How glorious it is, and also how painful, to be an exception."

~Alfred De Musset~

"You must realize that something is happening to you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand and will not let you fall."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

"Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart. The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth."

~Fyodor Dostoevsky ~

Item of clothing

I can't live without my AA basic shirts.
Especially the Tri-blend Deep V necks.

(.)

This is quite boring, isn't it?

Other AA stuff, I'd LOVE to have!

The place

Well, that must be my own home.
Otherwise i should be some place else.
Of course i dream about other places...
in beautiful countries with breathtaking nature
and lots of sun and warmth.
But i am here.
This is my place.

Places i often dream about...

The Disney Princess

To me, there's no princess like Ariel.
I've always been a huge fan of The Little Mermaid.

I'd like to tag the following bloggers.
Only play along if you like to, of course!

Matilda Irene Linnea, Indigo Tangerine (this blog has two contributors!), Heart in a Cage, Rosie Posie Rosie and Vintageveggie.

(Most of the pictures come from weheartit, but if one of them is yours, just let me know and i'll give you credit immediately.)

Such an adorable post! I really enjoyed it.

I really love that Dostoevsky quote, I remember highlighting it at some point the first time I read it.

So truly honored that you thought of me for this award Mila. Thankyou so so much, it really does mean a lot!

Your nephew sounds like such a doll. Babies are so much fun, also so much work though, so please do feel free to come steal Clover for a day... I could use the break, haha ;)

This is a beautiful tag, Mila dear... I love the poems and quotes you chose--so beautiful in their simplicity. And your home photos are so lovely, so fitting for who you are (and what an enchanting garden you have! If I had such a garden I would spend all my days upon that bed of grass reading a book and making pictures out of the clouds while talking to all the little fairies in the bushes!). And lastly, Ariel was my favorite Disney Princess as well!! I think I watched the Little Mermaid every morning for about a year when I was 5... however, Snow White, Thumbelina (haha, obviously--however she isn't disney...), and Belle are my other favorites.
Oh goodness, I hope you are well dear... the day is wonderful beautiful today, I hope it is for you as well! <3

Hai Rynke,
