Dreaming of Spring/Summer 2009

(Gorgeous linen from Toast)

Breezy, warm nights under beautiful thin sheets....

Of course you wake up in the most beautiful, vintage nightgowns....

(.)(.)

Drinking tea in the garden or on your balcony in the upcoming sun and the smell of a warm summerday ahead....

I am really planning to make my huge garden (the luck of living in a corner!) very beautiful this coming spring and summer!
Last year i literally did nothing in my garden, because i was just too lazy, while the year before it looked gorgeous with lots of beautiful plants and flowers everywhere....

I love these sweet dresses from Tucker by Gaby Basora.
I found this label via Frolic.

A few weeks ago, i fell hopelessly in love with these adorable flats.
This is the Etsy seller who sells the beauties...

Of course, i am dreaming of Mociun.
Again.

(Photography by Alyson Fox...amazing job!
You should definitely take a look at her website, it's amazing!)

Gorgeous photograph by Glen Luchford.
Look at that dress and how the sun seems to shine on the beauty of it....

Oh, how i LOVE this: Permanent Vacation, from sweden.
I found it via the gorgeousness of 10.17's blog! Thanks darling for inspiring...

That beautiful tights on the first picture!
How pretty would they look with a breezy, white dress above....

I guess Lara likes summer too. ;)

Hmm...summerboy! ;)
LOVE his hair....

(.)

Adore this sweet t-shirt...
Found here.

I am also planning to do more nice things with my hair....
When it comes to my hair, i am too lazy, but when i see this....

(First by weheartit, 2nd Sarah Hermans)

I love wearing whites in summer.
What about these beautiful dresses, handmade by Kate Towers?
(Found via this wonderful blog.)

Oh, i am planning to do a post about some things i made lately.
Well, i didn't made them all by myself, i actually made them together with my very creative mum.
We made two beautiful cushions together, she made me a very sweet summerdress (I chose the fabric myself!!) and we also painted some white plates.
And we are planning to make lots of more nice stuff, like mobiles and keyhangers and so on. (Remember the mobile i made for my little nephew?)
I am very happy with the results, so i'll be happy to show it all to you.
I only have to make some nice photographs of the stuff, and that seems to be a little problem lately.
Literally EVERY picture i take comes out horrible.
Have to do something about that...

What the h***, i am so proud of the mobile, i'll just show it again!

Dear sweethearts, i hope you all had a wonderful weekend,
i hope you will have a great week,
full of joy,
laughter
and of course...

LOVE.

oh yes, i was totally like that when I was young...I really don't know where I got my sense of fashion from. My mom was fashionable, but just average-ish and my dad, well...he didn't know much about fashion at all. I guess a few of my mom's friends were really stylish and into vintage clothes, and when they would come over, they always talked about thrifting and all these vintage clothes they got and stuff, so one day, I was like mom, take me to a vintage store (I was maybe 9 or 10-ish) and then I fell in love with all the clothes, so from thereon, I shopped at vintage stores and had all my clothes taken in. It was quite a funny site seeing a 10 year old dressed up in a floral vintage dress and blazer...and when I got into my teens, I still wore the same thing and people thought I was in college and I was like umm...no I'm 14... I was always really mature for my age, so much so that I wasn't really into what all the other kids my age were into, so I can totally relate to Sara in a little princess. I felt I could relate better to adults, which is why in my teens, my best friends were in their 20's. Is that similar to how you were?

To be a good charitable being is to from a amiable of openness to the world, an gift to trust uncertain things beyond your own restrain, that can take you to be shattered in uncommonly extreme circumstances as which you were not to blame. That says something very weighty about the prerequisite of the righteous compulsion: that it is based on a trust in the uncertain and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a weed than like a sparkler, something kind of dainty, but whose extremely particular handsomeness is inseparable from that fragility.
