Let's not forget to decorate.....

....our houses
and our lives.

Lately i've been seeing some beautiful pictures from James Merrell on several blogs.
I thought it was time now to do a little 'research' myself.
I love how all the pictures look so calming and peaceful....

As you all know, i feel LOVE for vintage teacups....
That's why i made this mosaic full of the most beautiful cups, found on Flickr.

1. t e a, 2. Pretty Vintage tea cup, 3. Vintage Tea Cup, 4. vintage asian tea cup, 5. Tea cup from Bonny, 6. A New Tea Cup, 7. My China, 8. cup and saucer, 9. Interior of Bavarian Tea Cup

What about these gorgeous birdies on the wall?
I love it!

From here.

I love this, mainly because of the old sewing machine (oh, the beauty!) and the flowerd fabric 'doll'. I'd love to have one of those...

From here.

Last, a few things i'd love to have for decoration...
My boyfriend said today i already have waaay too many stuff, but he does like most of my things, so i guess it's okay. And...it's still MY place! ;)

(This is a great idea...wallpaper like this is very expensive, but when you buy a little pice and put it in a frame like this, it's much cheaper, but also very nice!)

My biggest wish: a gorgeous vintage sofa....

Those James Merrell pictures are all SO beautiful and inspirational. I really love his aesthetic a lot!

This whole post is so full of inspiration, it makes me want to take on the daunting task of finally decorating my home!

We moved in to our house a week before Clover was born. Then I had a baby to deal with and never got around to really making the house look how I'd like it to.

Lately I've been feeling more motivated to work on it. Partly thanks to you and your lovely blog I think! xo

I love these antiquated rooms! There's something so appealing about wear and tear when it comes to interior design!

Mila your flat/house must be gorgeous as you have the most peaceful and utter dreamy taste! Those tea cups are so sweetly detailed! one thing i always wanted to do was to get amazing tea plates in perhaps a relating colour and hang them unto a main kitchen wall to create art.Love this post, keep being you dear.
You see beauty in unexpected places which is prescious.
