Danish brand Rice really got the sweetest things!
From accesories, kitchen stuff and blankets to little baby things.
All in sweet pastels and bright colours. Great for presents or nice little details for your own place.
Also nice to know, is that everything Rice designs is produced human and nature friendly.
I think i will defenitely buy something from Rice for my nephew or niece who's expected late september. Can't wait!

Daily things and pictures

Today i went on a shoppingtrip to Antwerp with my boyfriend.
It was a great (but exhausting) day. Important: today was the first day since too long i walked outside without a coat on. So lovely to feel the sun on my bare skin!
I bought a few nice things: a simple t-shirt from AA, another one from Urban Outfitters (love that shop! It was my first time visiting one..) some cute things from Zara Home en simple white sneakers for less than 4 euro's. Oh, and a very nice lacey top from New Look.

Something else now. My mom bought me UK Elle April 08. It's thick and got lots and lots of fashion in it. Yes, she made me happy.
One editorial immediately caught my eye, also because of the photography. It's shot by photographer Nagisakai and his(her?) work is just great!

Love is in the air again

Remember the book i told you about two days ago?
One of the contributors owns this great blog that's called My polaroid blog.
I became a total addict to this blog, because I love polaroids, lots of the polaroids are all whites and yes, i love white and i also saw some kind of loneliness in a lot of the polarids and i think that's beautiful.

For the love of light

Thanks to Decor 8 (again!)i discovered this new book coming out.
It's called 'For the love of light' and is fully dedicated to the beauty of polaroid photography.
25 photographers from 10 different countries and 5 continents contributed. This should be more than interesting!
I have to have it. How can i resist a book about polaroids with a title like that and pictures in it like below?

Caravanstyle is not exactly a word i read and think: oh yeah, that's attractive!
It certainly isn't, at least not in Holland.
But....you have to visit the website of Caravanstyle.
I rarely come across such a beautiful website and it made me wanna go to London to visit this store immediately.

(Sounds of) Silence

I think i am getting old already. Sometimes i get frustrated by all the loud noises we get to hear all day long.
I like to be in silence every now and then, so i don't play music and just listen to the silence. It calmes me down. And let me tell you, i need that!

I found this site of silence where you can read all about silence. You can also listen to the soft sounds of nature. How calming is that?
